Straits of Mackinaw
The Straits of Mackinac Shipwreck Preserve is a 148 square mile area extending from Wilderness State Park to the Cheboygan area. The Straits has a well-deserved reputation as a dangerous area to navigate. The region is populated with rocky shoals and shallows that place ships in peril. Perhaps even worse are the storms that can enter the narrow Straits and quickly magnify wind and waves. Over the years large numbers of ships have foundered in the Straits. Many have yet to be discovered.
If you are looking for a place to go with a variety of shipwrecks at different skill levels then the Straits of Mackinaw is the place to be.
We will be doing a morning and afternoon charter. We will do 2 dives on Friday and 2 dives on Saturday.
Don’t let another diver claim your spot. Reserve now by calling us at (810) 732-3900.
